             LISTEN TO OUR DEBUT EP

"WHAT DO YOU CALL FRUSTRATION" OUT NOW!!!

With a total absence of pretense, HUNK tackles skin-deep agony blending '90s grunge with

infectious synth-pop. In the spirit of bold acts like The Smashing Pumpkins, No Doubt and the angry side of Olivia Rodrigo,

frontwoman Joan escapes the perfectionistic demands of her brain, proving that getting frustrated can be a blast,

if you play your cards right...

Self-proclaimed “diet-grunge” band HUNK operates entirely independently;

from recording their debut single “Blushing over Nothing” to creating a retro ’90s boxing video game to accompany “Paul”

and producing a self-made mini series for their murder mystery track “Tommy”.

After a promising debut year with performances on the main stage of Bevrijdingspop and Vicefest and taking
part in Popronde, HUNK released their debut EP “What Do You Call Frustration” in the fall of 2025.

The EP received airplay on Dutch national radio at 3FM and KINK and was celebrated with HUNK’s self-organized

“Frustration Festival”.  They're now busy writing new songs, expanding their sound and finding new ways to stay unpredictable.

 Makes you wonder what’s coming next, right?
